Defiantly NOT commidities right now. But a broker will better suit you for you can discuss investment ideas and then the two fo you can come up with a winner.

if you are looking to invest particularly in share markets and commodity market,both are good if dealt with carefully.But there are other options which are safe and secure viz Mutual fund,investment in gold and Real estate.In these three categories absolutely there is no Chance of losing amount invested.But there May be little delay in Gold and Real estate.to liquidate.

Currently market in commodity segment is doing well............. & share market shall get stablized after this fiscal year.......so if looking for short term then try commodity.....else share is good option...but needs patience
