I am looking for an investment software that will allow me to research a detailed historical data.?

For example I want to be able to pick a time frame...say six weeks. I also want to be able to pick performance...won or lost...over any given three day period in that six week time frame. Thanks.

With that degree of specificity, you probably won't find anything that will fit your requirements out of the box. You will probably have to buy Metastock, Unfair Advantage, or another similar product and extend it on your own.

Let me answer this question a little different...

- do you know how best to analyse or apply statistical principles to historical data yourself?? If you sure you do, then I can write the software for you...

not all softwares avialable on earth will suit your needs, and its better to write your own..
