Do priests get paid? How much do they make? And does the church match their investments into a retirement?

plan or are they pretty much screwed as far as retirement goes?

some priest do get a salary and some don't it all depends on the priest. they really don't make alot and i think the diocese contributes to their retirement. but if they take a "leave of absence" (our priest recently did this because of his diabetes) they don't get a salary. the contributions to the church usually takes care of the majority of their bills and the functions of the church. that's why priest (unlike minister/pastors (not all but some)) can't drive lexus or mercedes, bmw's or gangsta cadillacs.

most priests just steal money the offering!lol sad but true no its not a job sweetie they voluteer to do that!

I don't know about priests, but most pastors get a salary. Depending on the size of the church and if the congregation's tithes and offerings can support a pastor full time. If not, then some pastors take on outside employment and receive a stipend from the church.
