IN case you have to invest in insurance for tax saving,ULIP is better or plain vanilla insurance?

i agree that ULIP provides investment benifits +insurance but please take in consideration all loads and charges in both plans before answering.

It sounds to me like some salesman is doing a snow job on you. It happens many times every day. There are no tax savings in plain vanilla insurance and it is a terrible investment from a return on investment standpoint. If you have already invested all you can in IRA's and things of that type like Keogh and 401K and still want to purchase a variable annuity to get tax free growth, OK. There are reasons to purchase insurance, but investment is not among them. There are plenty of no load investment funds around and loads just kill your return. And these funds do just as well as the load funds. You are very wise to consider the loads and the charges before investing.
