Hi , i am interested to invest , recently i heard about Max Newyork insurance's Unit-link plan in which they invest in stock market and when i questioned them about the risk factor they say that they gurantee returns as they didnt specify any risk factor at the end of the document , some think like (please read the offer document before investing) or so , so is it reliable to invest or kindly give me any investment ideas , i`m from chennai >>>>> take care >> c' ya

Max Newyork insurance is one of the renowned institution, insurance policies are one one of the best and risk free kinda investments. But before u apply for it just meet the advisor and know the pros and cons of that particular scheme.

Please do reply for furhter quiries, many of my frens are in Insurance.

I would question any scheme that invests in the stock market and says they guarantee returns, as there are always risks in stock market investment. Go with reliable investment advisor's like Merrill Lynch, Fidelity, or Vanguard. Always read the fine print.

If you ask my opinion you should never mix your insurance needs and your investment needs. Insurance is for your family's or dependant's well being if something happens to you.Investment is for you to grow your money. I would advice you take a term insurance which is pure insurance and then the rest of the money you invest in a mutual fund or a stock market. Term insurance will get you higher cover for lower premiums. If you are still not convinced ask your agent which fundhouse manages Max New York's Unit Linked Scheme. If the fundhouse is good then the money will be safe. And when they say guaranteed returns it will be 6% or so which is almost the same as the amount you will get in the bank
