Where to find investors?

I need some investment (around 5k) for a starting up a low risk high return buisness and was wonder if any of you know where I could find a buisness partneer or investor.

(Yes it is a buisness not a scam - pyramid scheme etc, it is my plan not someone elses.)

Ohh and dont assume I am stupid or ignorant like 'pbireton' has done, i know the risks and I know the potential income - i dont assume to be making millions.

Investors.com is of little use to me - sorry.

If you don't even have $5000 to invest in your idea, you are in real trouble. That is a tiny amount of money that no venture capitalist would take seriously.

Your view that this business idea is low risk and high return is alarming as well. You are probably overestimating the return or underestimating the risk.

Also...if your business is going to be so great, the last thing that you want is someone else to finance it. They will make all the money, not you...that's stupid of you.

If you have such a great idea: get a job, save up $5000, and do it yourself.

If you have a good idea you shouldn't have any trouble coming up with a mere $5,000.00 to get started. Since it is such a small amount, I would start by asking family and friends. If they aren't willing to get on board with you, maybe your idea isn't so great or maybe it needs re-thought. If you feel uncomfortable asking family and friends, try to sell your idea to anyone that will listen. Despite what the "Negative Neds" will tell you, there are plenty of people willing to part with $5,000.00 if they think they're going to make a profit. If your business is attractive financially, people will want to be involved.

Shoot me an email, and we can discuss a joint venture investment.
