Condo/Townhouse in Houston, TX?

I plan to purchase a condo/townhome around $20,000 as an investment, and I would like to know approximately how much tax and other costs will be added to the selling price? And the estate tax in Texas?

Thank you!

Real estate does not get taxed on sale like sales tax

Attorney fees: Hire an attorney who will handle all of your contracts. he will be the person who will make sure all the contracts you sign are fair and you are not bound to rediculous terms of the contract of sale, the mortgage contract and your financing.

Real Estate Agent fees: Again, depending on your sales contract, the seller or buyer will pay the real estate fees.

Property Taxes: Usually divided by 12 (months) and added to your mortgage payment

Home Owner's insurance: Another one that is divided by 12 and added to each month's payment

closing fees: You will be responsible to pay the closing costs unless you otherwise add these into your total mortgaged amount (best bet as it is divided over 15 or 30 years) OR you add the closing costs to the price of the home and the money is given back at closing to pay the costs........Deal with your attorney on this
