Does Quicken 2008 Premier have sufficient new features?

I am planning on buying Quicken 2007 premier(much cheaper, about 75% cheaper). Is 2008 a worthwhile upgrade - were a lot of substantial features provided or was it a 'lame' upgrade? What important features will I lose? I am new to Quicken and plan to use it for my investments.

It all depends on what you want Quicken to do for you.

For a fairly complete comparison (including hype) go to the Quicken web site at Link #1, below.

For a more balanced view I would recommend you click on link #2, below, which will take you to 29 different Amazon.com Customer Reviews. It has seventeen 1-star vs. twelve 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-star ratings. The first rating you will see is headed "2007 with a few more bugs..."

You will have to determine whether the extra features in the 2008 version (from link #1) are worth the extra cost and problems.
