Has anyone used "The Motley Fool" for investment strategies? |
I am thinking about buying a subcription to "The Motley Fool" and wanted some opinions about it. Has it really helped with planning your portfolio? I'm curious to see how the premium users of "The Motley Fool" feel. I read the "Fools" columns and analysis quite frequently but find it to be sorely lacking. Based upon their free advice, I definitely wouldn't pay for the subscriber services. Any of their picks that are based upon their CAPS users is totally worthless in my opinion. I've never used any of their investment strategies. Their strategies work better in a bull market. It's a hell of a lot easier for everyone to make money in a bull market. I like their advice and follow the information a lot.But I would not pay, there are lots of other financial sites to gather information and the more info you have the more knowledge you will have to decide on your own. I discourage using any advisory services. |
