You really need to see someone at the SBA (small business association) in your area.

Good Luck!!

You should make a list of all the equipment it takes to run a spa and tally up the price of those items and add to that employee costs and insurance. I'm sure I left some out but you can research that.

In addition to the items ringading listed, you'll need rent or purchase of a place for your spa, probably some utilities, advertising, legal and accounting services, supplies, and a ton of other items......

Hi, It looks like you need to look into all of the costs associated with setting up a spa. My thoughts are that you should look into purchasing an existing business that is up for sale. Checking trade journals and online spa industry sites for the spa industry should give you a good idea.

Also you should look online for a business plan template. Your local council or state government may have one online. The template would give you insight to many other factors involved in the investment - not only start up but ongoing costs.

Also asking an existing spa owner may be helpful, who knows they may want to sell you a franchise of sorts. That would give you a clearer picture

One such template is attached, though there are many more on the web.

Good Luck

Not too sure about the investment part, but I have a few templates of business plan templates in PDF form which may be of help to you.

Let me know if you want them and I can email it to you.

All the best!
