What kind of investment plan can be set up for disabled children? |
My husband and I have opened 529's for our two youngest children for college. What do we need to open for our oldest child who will never go to college because he is very Autistic? Please don't tell me to speak to a financial planner or attorney. If you have an Autistic or disabled child then you know how much money it actually takes to raise them and to educate them. If I had the extra money to see a financial planner than I wouldn't have posted the question here...I am not an idiot but a concerned mother. You can get a CD at any bank. Just make sure there is a co-signer since your child is a minor. There will be taxes to be paid, but no limitations on how the money is to be spent or when. speak with a financial planner who works with a attorney. |
