Good investment plan??? |
my best friend just emailed me this new strategy..If you would have invested $1,000,one year ago.....Nortel...You would have 49.00 left...Enron...You would have 16.50 left. Worldcom.....You would have $ 5.00 left,Lucent, you would have $3.50. He said if you would have bought $1,000 worth of canned beer, drank it and then re-cycled the alulminum cans you would have had a return of 214.00... A loss, but, not so painfull!!! callled the ...401 keg plan This is a lttle shot of levity thrown into the mix on a drab rainy day at my fortified complex in The Peoples Republc of Kalifornia I believe this is an Internet and/or e-mail joke that has been circulating for at least a couple of years. The figures cited for the beer purchase and aluminum recycling refund are not accurate. The stocks cited above are some of the greatest losers in recent history. Select virtually any company stock or mutual fund and the results would stack up much differently. This is NOT a serious investment plan. try microsoft shares |
