Filing my taxes? |
I just started my first job and only worked 5months in 2007. I don't own any real estate/stock or any other investments. I'm fresh out of college and living at home with my parents. Is it worth hiring a professional to do my taxes for $60 bucks? Or is it better to just use the free TurboTax service online? For a simple return like yours, it won't take long. It's easy. Do it yourself. its easy to do them yourself. use the free turbo tax. it should only take you 1/2 hour or so. go to turbotax.com ( i prefer hrblock or efile.com)and give it a try. you are not commited until you either efile or print and mail. if you find you are unable to do them then just close it out and go to a tax man but i bet you will have no problem Don't hire it out. Right now your taxes are as simple as they will every be. I suggest you do your own taxes and use a service like HR Block online tax preperation (which I use). These services walk you through it and you can electronically file for a very small fee (<$20). |
