Is there anywhere online where I can trade stocks for a very small fee?

I don't have any experience and Im going to start out with a low investment of probably $500. Is there a place where I can still profit with the right trades instead of paying high comission fees and such? Is there a place that does not even require a minimum amount? Thanks

Look at the online brokerages like etrade, firstrade, scottrade, etc to see which fits your needs best.

Scottrade, but they have their quirks.
