I'd like to learn more about the stock market. How do I become a good investor and make money for my future?

Below are two to start with

BOOKS FROM THE WALL STREET JOURNAL
Personal Finance Guidebook

"The Wall Street Journal Complete Personal Finance Guidebook" and "The Wall Street Journal Personal Finance Workbook" are top-notch primers designed to help you understand and keep up with your personal finances.

The Wall Street Journal Complete Money & Investing Guidebook

Understanding money and investing has never been more important than it is today, as more and more of us are called upon to manage our own retirement planning, college savings funds, and health care costs.

invest silver and gold ;) or just money :) :0 :)

The best way is to visit the library or bookstore and pickup books. Read, learn, repeat.

Go to www.fool.com This is the website for "The Motley Fool" an investing and financial advisory web company. They have a section of investing education, upper right tab called "Fool School". Very straightforward, very easy to understand. You'll have to give them your e-mail address, use a Yahoo or Gmail account but it is free. You will get occasional emails from them, but not enough to qualify as spam. But don't sign up for any of their newsletters until you have a good handle on what you really want to do with your money

There are many books and websites available to help you learn the market and simple economics, after all the two go hand in hand. The yahoo finance site is good, also investopedia.com and aaii.com have good investor education resources on their sites, check them out.
