Which is the best discount brokerage firm for a infrequent investor? |
would probably carry not more than 3 transactions a year.......want to reinvest dividends.....would prefer to not have maintenance or inactivity fees....which firm satisfies all these requirements? Vanguard is excellent. Just buy mutual funds, you don't need a brokerage account. Charles Schwab if you're not an experienced trader. Scottrade. However, I think dividends are deposited to your account as cash. i would say sharebuilder and just stick with the $4 plan. Scottrade does NOT reinvest dividends. Zecco. |
