Where do Non-profit theater orgs go to find investor funding?

We've tried several sites. Many if them ask us to do a loan that requires personal credit checks and credit card receipts. Grants can take a long time.

I don't know of any sites that will provide financing for non-profit theaters.

The ones I know of get money from grants (yeah, I know they are slow and unreliable), board members, friends, parents of actors, patrons, ticket sales -- wherever they can scrounge.

I assume you have a board. It's a good idea to put people on the board who can support the theater financially, either personally or through their friends and contacts.
