I've started a patent. How do I get an investor to invest in my idea? |
I've sent information on my idea to an invention company, and I don't think I can afford to continue, Who can help? And how can they help? If you have sufficient paperwork and certainty of the patent, then you probably already have a business plan for the marketing and profitability of the product. If you do not have a business plan then you really need one in order to get any financing. SBA loans are available through banks, however some of the patented and intellectual technology type of deals go through private investors such as angel investors. There are groups available in any part of the country that accept business plans on a daily basis then they decide which they will participate in (fund). You lose more of the ownership this way but get more cash with less restrictions. Look for investors that way and you will find plenty of firms that offer it some are angel investors some are venture capitalists. Don't use an invention company. Contact the the US patent Company You go around and push the idea. Show it off to the right people. |
