What does it mean by "Short Term" & "Medium Term" investor?

Short-term if you're talking stocks is about 3-5 years or less.
Medium-term is between 5-10 years.

short term 0-6 months (actually anything under 12 months is considered short term for tax purposes)

medium 6-12 months

long 12+ months (best tax breaks here if you hold them for a year or longer)

in weeks is MT
who never book losses is LONG TERM investor

The definition varies for each person. But as a rule of thumb, short term investor means they have a time horizon of less than one year, medium means 1 - 3 yrs.
