In at two-for one stock split an investor who owns150shares before the split will own - shares after the split

A two-for-one split means just that - so after the split someone who had 150 shares will own 300 shares, with each valued at half the cost.

For example, if I own 150 shares worth $100 each, I have $15,000 worth of the stock. Immediately after the split, I would own 300 shares worth $50 each - again valued at a total $15,000.
