Maybe if you know you could list the top 5 if you are talking bonds..china.....stocks Saudi Australia, Venezuala & Saudi Arabia are the largest foreign investors in the US. Britain and Canada are right up there, too. I am almost positive that Canada is the biggest foreign investor in the US stock markets. And I am positive that the US is the biggest investor in Canadian markets. The UK is the largest single foreign investor in the U.S., with some $252 billion invested (16% of the total stock of foreign direct investment in the U.S.) Michael Moore will have us believe that Saudi arabia is at least a major investor if not the biggest.
