I am a new investor in shares, if I purchased share to-day, when i can sell the same, have any time limit?

There are no time limits if you're just buying shares of stock. You can turn around and sell them immediately, or hold on to them for the rest of your life.

it depends on your broker / the ppl with whom you hold your trading account. eg, ICICI direct has a locking period of 2 days... once you buy, you cant sell for next 2 days... while sharekhan allows you to sell immediately after you buy... no limits... so i suggest you ask your broker... because it is specific to them.
