I am a new Investor. What company is best for me?

I am aware of sharebuilder.com, however the fees are not attractive. Please Help.

Sogoinvest.com can be ideal for you.
You can buy stocks at $3.
It offers automated as well as real time trading.
Fractional share trading is also available.

As a new investor, you can help yourself with these tutorials:

Check out zecco.com. I do not have an account there but for basic buying/selling stocks I've read good comments about their service.

I recommend investing in mutual funds because of their diversity. First determine what type(s) of investments you want to make (stocks or bonds). If stocks, do you want to invest in large cap, small cap, foreign, growth, value, etc. Then go to a mutual fund rating service such as Morningstar and see what they recommend. They will also tell you the fund's objective, past history, fund manager, minimum investment and the like. Many funds can be purchased directly from the company so there is no commission. Mutual funds are as liquid as any other publicly traded investment.

I was introduced to the investment of the iraqi dinar. This speculates that you buy with $1,000 at least 1,000,000 dinars. After iraq has a stable economy and goverment it should reval close to almost 1 USD : 1 dinar. For more info go to http://www.investorsiraq.com Good luck.
