I looked for an investor for my business but then he stole my idea to do on his own, how can i protect me?

The unfortunate fact is that unless you had a signed legal agreement or contract in which he agreed in writing to keep your idea secret and not use it himself, there really isn't anything you can do about it.

Depending on the type of idea, you may still want to try it yourself (if the market is big enough for both of you), or you may want to move on and try to come up with another great idea.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
