Is "The Teenage Investor" by Timothy Olsen a good book to use to help kids learn about investing?

This book was recommended to me by a friend who said it's one of the best books out there for kids/novices who want to learn how to begin investing...any thoughts?

That is a great idea. You might also want to create a "practice" portfolio at http://www.top10traders.com - it's free - each month the site ranks the best performing investors.

I'm not familiar with the book.
However, 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' is a good motivational book suitable for kids. After reading that, they will start with a understanding and interest in why to invest
