Is Select Investor Program a smart move for asset allocation or costly ( 1% of assets value) with 1st Cmd?

There are a number of wrap fee programs out there with an emphasis on allocation. I'm not familiar with the programs from First Command, but if your question is 1% expensive... it depends on the amount of assets under management. I would try asking around with other financial advisors.
