When buying a foreclosure, can a real estate agent represent an investor in California? |
I'm in the foreclosure industry and a realtor just recently informed me that by law agents can not represent investors when buying foreclosures. Is this true? Most foreclosure laws are made to protect foreclosure victims. Using a real estate agent when someone can no longer afford their home is sometimes the only logical choice. I have not heard of this law and I know of many Realtors who list properties that are in foreclosure. Check with the secretary of state. |
