I am looking for a grant/investor. Any good leads?

I am trying to find the right people to assist me financially in upgrade a bake shop. The main thing about the deal is the fact that I wish to give certain people an opportunity to get their lives back out in the open world.
The majority of my employees will be physically/mentally challenged in some form or another. I would like to give them this opportunity to show themselves, as well as others, that they are worth something; that they don' t have to live the rest of their lives on state/federal funding.
My credit score has a lot to do with not being able to find good investors and I am working on that right now through a law firm.
So, if you have any good leads for good grantors, please let me know.
