4 % investor high euphoria in news . Govt should give incentives for broad basing investor participation.? |
It appears from reports that companies are buying back their shares to reduce the share holders. It is necessary to broad base the share holders鈥?base for wider participation . Govt should amend the taxation laws. Viz: Public limited companies having less than 200 share holders per lakh of capital will attract a surcharge of 10 %. Or in the alternate a cess of X % will be levied when share holding is less than 1000 share holders per crore of issued capital. that is a really BAD socialist idea. |
