Why is so hard to find an technology investor?

I have a project, a very good project. But I cant find an investor. They dont answer an email when I send my executive summary... Why is so hard??

It's not easy because primarily because they do not know you; they may not be interested in your project; they may not be looking to fund another person at this time; or they don't like cold call emails where out of the blue a request for funding comes to them. Or they may not like attachments in emails, so they don't get to read your executive summary.

Finding investors is hard so be prepared to hear "No" a lot. It will be easier if you come highly recommended by someone these investors know. Networking is extremely crucial in looking for funding. I know of some who got their funding because they know the right people (in some cases, even if they did not have great projects). It's who you know that counts.

One way would be to submit your proposal in places where investors are actively looking for projects. Here are some places where angel investors come and those looking for funding can come and pitch their business plans. Be sure to have a strong business plan and describe what makes your business idea stand apart:

Angel's Forum http://www.angelsforum.com
Band of Angels http://www.bandangels.com

New World Angels http://www.newworldangels.com
New York Angels http://www.newyorkangels.com
Prairie Angels http://www.prairieangels.org (charges $125 to submit idea)
Robin Hood Ventures http://www.robinhoodventures.com (charges $250)

Business plan competitions are another excellent way of getting the attention of investors. The founders of WeddingChannel.com got their funding because a venture capitalist was in the audience and was impressed with the business plan they presented http://www.womenhomebusiness.com/success... Check if there are colleges or universities in your area, and whether they sponsor business plan competitions. Here are some of business plan competitions that you may want to check:
