i have been asked to find an investor 4 a friend. she has an idea which seems a fantastic original one but she has no way of funding herself. she is to old to apply to the princes trust and i have no idea where she can go for help with a business loan or advice. she lives in the midlands if anyone has any ideas www.growthbusiness.co.uk She can take this idea of hers to the Local Council. Tell her to contact her local 'Chamber of Commerce' or ' Business Link' they will be able to give advice & funding, Chamber of Comerce can give up to 拢1500 but it is in the form of stuff that is needed, like: stationary, better pc, mobile phone handset etc. not actual money. Discuss it to any financial intermediary it all depends on how much she needs to startup. Council s and local banks can easily lend up to 50k ( if you have a collateral). Now if you are looking for more, you need to have a solid business plan in hand and you can find loads of private investors via the web.....and yeah beware scams who will tell you the will put millions in your account. |
