What is an Investor?


Can someone tell me what the definition of an Investor for the real estate business?

They are talking about people who purchase property to earn money, not reside in the property.

I am an investor, I buy houses and rent them out. Also occassional lots of land with the intent on selling it (I usually know who is oging to be wanting it before hand)

We are seperated mainly because the financing is differant. But, also we look for differant things then if we wanted to live on the property.

An investor is any party that makes an Investment.

However, the term has taken on a specific meaning in finance to describe the particular types of people and companies that regularly purchase equity or debt securities for financial gain in exchange for funding an expanding company. Less frequently the term is applied to parties who purchase real estate, currency, commodity derivatives, personal property, or other assets.

they buy properties that's profit qill increase over time then sell

An investor is a person who saves money in order to put it to use earning more money. an investor in real estate buys land or other real property in the hope of benefiting from the ownership. The investor can benefit by selling the property for more than the purchase price, or by renting it. Or the investor may decide to improve the property by investing more money in it, hoping to earn an even higher return on the investment.

Investor for the real estate business is someone or group of people who spend some money in a property project, in order to gain money from the property selling.

In the Field of Real Estate, Investor is one who deploys capital to carry on transactions of buying real estates like land or buildings, and may include those who are into it for gaining speculative gains. There are several kinds of investors... like those who lend money to builders against Projects, those who buy small plots of land or flats and bunglows and resell them or rent them , and those who actually invest a part of their net worth holdings of cash into Revenue yielding projects
