How can I get an investor? |
I have a great idea for something that is very much needed and in demand but its hard to find. I know I am on to something big but I only have the vision and the idea. I need someone willing to invest. How can I find an investor? Edward, no that's not what I had in mind! I don't want to say too much but i will say that its in the wellness/health category and has nothing to do with excercise! Although finding an investor seems hard, I was able to find one at the age of 17. If you can come up with a solid idea, and have it drawn out clearly, the investor will obviously be more willing to invest than if you don't. So, that being said, figure out the best way to communicate your idea to a potential investor, to make it seem most impressive and write out a business plan. There are corporations who specialize in investing in ideas, but no matter who you do it with, make sure you get them to sign a confidentiality agreement, so they don't reject you and walk off with your idea. look em up. it's not a pedal powered motor home or a video camera caddy for a golf cart is it. If you really have a great idea, you could approach venture capital firms. (Go to a public library and a librarian can help you get a list of venture capital firms.) Venture capital firms provided the initial funding for Apple and Google. advertise in the wall street journal. |
