I just started a new job in Investor & Public Relations for a financial firm. I need advice on professional development . . . what organizations should I join? Whjat conferences and/or seminars should I consider attending? Are there any certificate programs I should think about taking? Not for nothing, but wouldn't your company tell you whether or not it is recomended you take stuff like series 7 or whatev. They do pay for whatever certs you take usually in finance, even some MBA programs. And don't most financial firms have conferences in-house? |
