How do I get an investor?

This is a serious business looking for an investor. I am not trying to get a free hand out or anything of that nature. We do great work and have always made great money for our investor in the past. He has retired and we are looking for an investor to continue. We do home renovation. We have references and pictures of past flips. I am hitting a wall trying to find an investor. We need 70,000.00 with a promised return of at least 109,000 if not more. Any ideas or leads would be great.

thanks!

If you have done that well in the past, you should be able to finance one flip yourself. Also "promised" returns are a big flag.

Visit some business forum or groups. You might also want to furnish us with your business proposal:)

house flipping is just as risky as stocks, especially in the present market...how can you "Promise" to return $40k....I promise the check is in the mail...

don't forget to write a business plan!

If your past results have been as good as you say, why not approach a relative or a close friend. They know you and I'm sure would appreciate a good return on their funds. Finding a third party venture capitalist for a real estate project right now would appear to be virtually impossible.
