Private Investor?

I am looking for a private investor in the US to look at a new security product I intend to launch in the USA in 2008. Preferably an investor with contacts and associates within the road haulage industry. All enquiries if proceeded with must be in strict confidence and I.P. contracts to be signed before disclosure of data. This is a UK invention with patent pending applications. Thank you.

If you don't want an angel, then you've got to network, network and network. Your problem is that you are in UK and want US investors -- and unless it is an angel, ordinary investors are really not organized and will invest depending on recommendations. So someone's got to recommend you to them. Get media attention, giving them enough information to get the interest of investors without revealing too much.

Otherwise, relatives, friends and acquiantances will be your best bet
