What do you consider the best cashflow investment today?

I am interested in making money right away without long term commitments attached. Any suggestions?

I'm with Roger....closed end funds such as ETO are a nice way of collecting a handsome dividend (>6% & some >8%).

REITs & Utility stocks are known to kick off some nice dividends.

I also like Altria (MO). Their dividend has been paid for over 50 years and they've made some healthy increases to their dividend. It's doubled since 1996 (that's about a 7% annual increase) and quadroupled since 1992.

Just last month they increased it by 7.5% from 0.80 per share per quarter to 0.86 per share per quarter. In 1999 it was paying 0.40 per share per quarter.

This stock is a cash cow, corporate ATM.

day trading.

Well I would say realestate but you want no long term comitment. I would look into junk bonds or IPOs.

Invest in ETO stock fund. Good dividends, no long term commitment..

A real estate investment trust. or REIT. they INVEST IN A GROUP OF MALLS. OR SOME OTHER TYPE OF REAL ESTATE. some pay out monthly. And their stock had had an excellent record. You can get your investment fast by just selling the stock. You will get excellent returns and also some real growth.

Short term? OIL, OIL, OIL. You can't lose (short term) in an over-$20Billion a year industry.
