Which country shall I look into for an investment property? |
With the downturn in the american housing market but housing markets still not coming down enough to make it worthwhile to buy right now where abroad should I look to find property that is a value and looking to increase in value in the short or longer term. It depends on your budget, future plans and your personal financial skills. BRICs..Brazil,Russia, India, China are supposed to be growing markets and therefore the property prices are on a rise. Tokyo, I wouldn't suggest as we saw a very bad situation in the 90s and early 2000s. Though the situation has improved recently but the investment cost is very high along with the language barrier. There are many banks and financial firms dealing in REITS (Real Estate Investment Trsuts). I think REITS should be the best option for you as its an investment in RE and the risk is comparitively much lower. Brazil is very cheap and returns are good. Mexico. Australia, North Queensland. We're booming down here.... Tokyo Japan. |
