Does anyone know of any affordable coastal real estate that is not too humid? |
I can't afford California, Hawaii or Oregon; Texas is too hot; Florida has hurricanes.....I would look outside the U.S. if the government was stable enough to support a long-term investment. Oh, I also don't want heavy snow or 4" mosquitoes. I know I'm picky! Any ideas? Please be specific to town or county, if possible. Is it an impossible dream to retire somewhere where I can wake up to the sound of the seashore? The west coast of Canada or Alaska. Its not warm but the water does keep it more warm than inland. Also some of the more remote areas of the coast of Australia and New Zealand. There is an entire east coast in America, you know. It is gorgeous over there on the ocean and depending on where you look and what your budget is, you can find some good deals. ummm....you just pretty much knocked out every coastal area in the known universe. There is no such thing as a coastline that does not experience humidity. Get real and face the reality that everywhere on the planet has adverse weather situations occasionally. Hurricanes are unpredictable, and drought can come and go only to be replaced with possible flooding. Mudslides and forest fires wreak havoc while tornadoes completely destroy. Natural disasters are just something that we have to take our chances with. I've lived in many places and have yet to find that utopia you dream about. Maybe in my next life. You can move to Australia if you like, many opportunities. People collecting properties. The government is strong and stable. No heavy snow, near beaches. Nice place to live. Affordable properties, you can even invest property for only $40/week! if you're interested, please email me. Thanks. |
