Should I invest in Bear Stearns after all the dust settles? |
When everthing is said and done; wont Bear Stearns be a Bargain for long-Term investment? Well, ask yourself if Bear Stearns is guily of doing anything wrong. Simply put, the wrong doers for this financial mess will be punished and pummeled, even if it is merely for the sake of P.R. with the small investor. Where is ENRON today? There won't be a Bear Stearns after this sale goes through. no...its gone and dead The level of volatility in this case is high. So, you could win big or you could lose big. So, it is a gamble. Don't invest in one fund like this, concentrate with collective funds if you want a more secure and intelligent investment. Bear Sterns will be J P Morgan. You can invest in JP, but not Bear. There will be no Bear Stearns after the dust settles. As of right now it appears they will be bought by JPMorgan (hasn't been approved by shareholders yet, but its just a matter of time) and if not then someone else will acquire the firm and it will cease to exist. I had a Homer Simpson moment this morning when I finally heard one of the talking heads give me a reason for BSC going up. |
