What are the best stocks for longterm investment in india -BSE.?

I am looking for long term investment in india -BSE.
Price may be around INR 200 to 500 per share.
Tennure : 3 - 5 years,
Amount : INR 25,000.

Buying any script based on its price range of 200-500 is wrong idea. This is because a price of 200-500 doesn't mean that stock is better than a stock which trades at Rs.40.

If you don't know much about stock selection and why don't you invest the said amount in a diversified equity fund? This could be a safer bet as the stock selection is handled by a full time professional manager by paying a fraction of fees and keeps you free of hassles like determining the price and keeping track of it.
