How many days in an investment long vs. short? |
How many days are there in a long vs. short term investment. Please give the exact number of days please. I forgot the exact number. leap year doesnt matter 365 flat is the cutoff. One year is 365 days unless it is leap year. You must hold the investment longer than that to be a long term capital gain so 366 or 367 in leap year. |
