How can i make more money as a teenager? |
Well hello i am a regular teenager i am 16 and i want to make more money ill like to tale a course on anything to work somewhere to make more money!!! and i know that if you take a course on somthing you will make more money than regular macdonald jobs...anyone recommand something? keep in mind im a student in high school Is there something called Upward Bound where you live? That gets you job experience and it's kind of like a summer school program type thing. I started working when I was 14 (they do pay you.) When I was a teenager I umpired little league games in my town. It paid about 3 times what my minimum wage job paid and it was a lot of fun, except for the crazy parents. Might check with the league in your area. try looking for internships. law firms and accounting firms pay pretty well. try researching their hr department and see if they take interns. well. school's almost out, and summer's almost here. are there any places near by your hometown where there is a lot of tourism in the summer? they will almost always be looking to hire people in the spring to get them trained for the summer season. also, small hotels need people for things like housekeeping. just simple jobs around your town can create a job. hope this sparked some ideas You can search and apply for internships online at monster.com or other websites. These definitely will provide you experience in whatever area you are interested in. Usually if you perform well as an intern, you could get offered a full time job with better pay and benefits, or you can use it as experience on your resume when you pursue jobs in the future.
