Does money make money?

this dosent make sense to me, everyone tells me that money breeds money-or money attracts money.....but how? If I have 1 hundred dollars in my wallet how woll that attract more money? I think thats kinda stupid and prolly not true, but if you can explain it in a way where you can actully prove it to me then I will listen.

money makes money when it's in an interest yielding account or investment....obviously if it's hanging out in your wallet or home it's not going to make more $! These are bills not rabbits!!

it's a metaphor. duh. people who have money can use their money to make more money. like use ur money to start a business which will make you more money. or using ur money to go to college to become a doctor where you will make a lot of moolah. get it?

It's like a bigger picture. In order to get rich like Donald Trump or someone like that, you have to have enough money to buy or build all of those fancy buildings. Even if you were smart enough and knew everything about real estate, if you don't have lots of money, you can't build a casino or a sky scraper.
Or, if you want to work for someone else at a good job, you need a lot of money to buy your Ivy League MBA degree.
Or , if you want to earn a lot of money in a competitive business like OIL, or Construction, you have to bribe politicians and pay off Mafia bosses and Union Thugs. All of these activities cost a lot of money.

If you just keep your money in your wallet, no it won't make money. If you put it in an interest-bearing account, or invest it in something where it's value rises, you will.

Money does not make money. You can't just have money and expect it to grow. So if you look at a piece of land and ask how is land going to make me money, you will get no response if you look at it as land and plain soil.

Tada, you already knew that. Money is made by investing time and effort. Find an idea or product, find somone that can use your idea or product. If you can invest your money in that idea or product cheeper then then the guy your selling it too, then you have a potential to make money. If you buy oranges for .25 cents and know that they sell for .50 or .75 cents on a certain corner you have made your money make money. Im in the auto repair industry. I buy my products for 10 dollars and try to sell them for $50 dollars. That is including labor and diagnosis. Did I make $50 dollars? No. I have to pay mechanics, I have to buy equipment, maintain equipment, insurance, pay taxes, pay my rent, pay my bills and firstly pay for my original product. I may make $5 in the end for myself. But that is how the expression money makes money works.

buy a product for bulk rate. then you can charge at least 30-50% more
