Will someone help me?

My ex-husband of 30 years is not following the judges orders. He has not shared retirement accounts, IRA's, stock shares, profit-sharing from the business we own, or 1/2 of the business, CD's, etc. I am broke, and almost homeless. He will not give me any money. I can't afford a lawyer to file a motion against him. My funds are gone, spent on attorney fees from the divorce. I have had no success with the writs, which were written up on him in the last year. He manages to hide from being served. I can't believe he's getting away with this. He is also 11 months behind in alimony. He is 54, and I am 52. Please help!

What about getting a good ol' fashion job? Seriously, if you can land something decent, it could hold you off until all this legal BS is finished. The problem is, if you don't do something you'll be in huge trouble. The only person you can depend on in life is yourself so starting to work might be a good start.

I almost became homeless two months ago but i barely held on and started working really hard. I've discovered that I would rather work hard at a job I don't love then have the feeling I might get booted from my apartment next month. It sucks when your credit is being destroyed, your car might get repo'd, and you have no place to go.

As you get yourself more stable you'll be able to focus on getting his *** busted and take what is rightfully yours.

good luck

God, Im 12 i wouldnt know, but talk to your friends, if they are really your friends they will help you and maybe eben lend you some money. And if any of your friends are lawyers ask them for help

Try going to your local free attorney service and apply (the name of these services varies by state). Alternatively, see if a law school in your state has any help they can offer either in resources or student practitioners.

You should still be able to get an attourney who will take their profits after the settlement. If it was court ordered that he is to do all of which you say, you should also be able to go to the court house where it was issued and ask for assistance there.

get him for contempt.............legal services dept at the county house should be able to help. You deserve alawyer. have the court appoint one for you.

I would call the courts non stop until I got the help I need. Sooner or later they get tired of your calls and will start handling things. Just keep calling the Courts day after day.
