Suggestions for managing finances?

Does anyone have any suggestions at all how to make $10,000 in the next three weeks? The mortgage provider will foreclose on my house if I do not come up with enough money to cover a few more months while I await the start of my new job end of February. I have simply run out of ideas what to do to create such an amount of money in such a short time. I would appreciate any valid suggestions, however off the wall, to get me out of this horrible balancing act. I have already had to take an equity loan against the house to help funds, but it has not been sufficient. The house is up for sale but I don't know how long that will take to sell. This situation has arisen very quickly due to insufficient rental funds on the property which has not enabled me to cover my monthly mortgage payments. I have had to pay out of my own expenses and these are now precariously low. I've tried various rentals (longer term, etc) but nothing appears to be working.

Sounds like this is a rental property. Unfortunately I think your best bet would be with one of those "We Buy Houses" type of firms. Sure, they are going to offer you 60-70% of the retail value mostly likely, but it WILL get you out of this jam, at least temporarily.

Another option is to look in your local paper for a "Hard Money Lender". They are usually private lenders and can help in unusual situations. If they cant help you directly, they WILL know a way for you to get out of this situation.
