Is there a reason for panic?

I have a 401K account under an employee savings and protection plan managed by Great-West Retirement Services. My company matches up to 3% of what I contribute which is 6%.
My account allocations are 60% aggressive and 40% moderate.
In the last two years I have done fine with these allocations but the markets were more stable than today.
With the uncertainty of a recession should I continue as aggressive or should I put my money on a Stable Value Fund?

i don't think it's panic time.

this is cyclic and will resolve eventually. housing and general sluggish economy will likely continue for some time so you may not get a great and maybe even negative return this year. if you have several years left until retirement you should be fine. consider reallocating logically, don't tie up your entire portfolio in equities if you can't stand the risk.

good luck!

I dont reccomend that you change your portfolio at this time, you want to buy at a discount and sell at a premium... stick with it and it will go back up... the market always goes up and down... If you have a few years before retirement you definitly want to have a majority of your portfolio working agressivly for you, you cant gain alot if you dont have any risk... more risk = more $
