keep some of money aside from your earnings every month and invest in some land.take any home and pay installments.it will help you to keep your money at better place and after some year you will get your own house also.

for the case of equity funds , hold on for 2-3 years for good returns. dont afraid of temporary fluctuations in market.
for balanced fuds wait for atleast 1 yr.

keep a fix deposits on ur area bank
