How do I find a lost trust fund?

Our family had quite a historical background of which there were a lot of assets that were put into a trust fund and managed by a bank and should have been handed onto my family when the person concerned died. My direct link with this side of the family died some years a go and since then I have not heard or received anything. We cannot locate the trust funds although we know they exist. Can any body help?

The trustee (in this case, probably the bank that was managing the assets) should have all of the records. If they are not cooperating, you should be able to find the relevant documents (wills, trust agreements, etc) on file in the county where the trust was established (assuming you are in the US). A good probate attorney can probably help you further with this.

Kill your gran, if she is minted, ur quids in.

you need certain details i.e the bank the account holders name before you can do anything then contact the bank and see if they can help you hope you find what your looking for ;-)
