Are investments that automatically transfer over to benificiaries upon death, taxable? |
The money never entered the estate and I was told that it may not be withdrawn to pay for expenses. Everything is taxed in this country. The only question is if they will be taxed as an estate tax or when you sell the investment. See a tax professional before you pay the IRS more than you should. |
